Chrysoberyl


Chrysoberyl (chrysoberyl) is a metal or precious stone should not be confused with the Alberal, is a beryllium aluminate and carries the
chemical formula BeAl2O43]
Naming
Alcrisuperel name is derived from the Greek compound word formed from the first two parts (Greek: χρυσός) and second (Greek: βήρυλλος) meaning "very shiny white gold." Despite the similarity of names between them, the Chrysoberyl and Alberal two types of gemstones are completely different.
Properties
Chrysoberyl is the third hardest type of natural gemstones organic where is classified at 8.5 degrees on the Mohs scale of hardness and is located between Alchorond which carries the number 9 on the Mohs scale and between topaz, which holds the number (8). [4]
